As part of its development, the Roseraie du Val-de-Marne is initiating a variety of projects, some of which may involve a private financial partnership in addition to public funding. This is why the Roseraie du Val-de-Marne is calling on corporate sponsorship to help it continue to protect and enhance its exceptional site.
Thanks to the enacting terms of the August 2003 law, the sponsorship initiative offers a range of advantages to businesses. By taking part in a general interest project, businesses can avail of a 60% tax exemption of their gift and confirm their role in civil society. By uniting employees around key values, they contribute to the dynamics of the cultural and social life of their environment.
Accordingly, the notion of general interest at the heart of the sponsorship principle touches on a wide range of themes that can be split into five categories : solidarity, culture, environment, sport and research. Straddling four of these, the Roseraie du Val-de-Marne is a high-quality sponsorship project that can rely on support from businesses to welcome increasing numbers of visitors and continue to promote knowledge of roses.
Contribution to sponsorship activity can come in different forms :
- financial : contributions, grants, cash donations, etc.
- resources : provision of services, human, material or technical resources
- technological : mobilisation of the business’s expertise
- skills : making available the skills of the business’s employees to help in the preparation of a project or to provide short or long term technical assistance.
